The twelvemonth for the Opium dates from the 12th August, and for the salt and Stone quarries from the 1th September. Fluctuations must of course be expected in the

mount of what is put up to

annual auction, and the increase on the Salt farm this year has nearly counterbalanced

the diminution on the other two.
